What is This Place?

I asked them if they wanted a podcast.  Resoundingly, they said “No!”

So I decided to make a podcast.

Only most said no.  Some said: “Depends on the content.” Others said: “What’s a podcast?” Another group said: “Entertain me!!!”  About 11 percent of respondents said: “Yea, I’d probably listen to a podcast.”

(the 11 percent!! You are my people! I am eternally grateful!)

Then I asked what I should call that podcast.  There were three choices.  1. The Everyday.  2. Unparalleled Sports Podcast.  3.  Sports Universe.

I’m partial to The Everyday, from my nickname, Everyday Evan.

They overwhelmingly agreed with The Everyday!  Sports Universe came in second.  Unparalleled is a bear to type so thank goodness it came in last.  No thanks.

But then thinking one day in the shower, I had something even better.

It rhymes.

It alliterates.

It somehow relates to the 11 percent who were with me in the beginning (and I conveniently discarded when I had a better idea).

It’s awesome.

The EVERYDAY EVAN ELEVEN.

What does it all mean?  What will happen?  Who will listen?  Should I be feeling lightheaded?

Don’t know, don’t know, you of course, and probably not.
